  • Diablo IV: Season 5 PTR Overview

    Prepare for Battle

    Dark forces are amassing beyond Hell’s gates, and Diablo IV gold Sanctuary needs you, wanderer. The second Public Test Realm (PTR) for Diablo IV is imminent, giving you the chance to preview and test the forthcoming features and changes for Season 5. This PTR will run from June 25 to July 2 for players with a PC Battle.net account.

    Why Participate in the PTR?
    The PTR is your opportunity to engage with upcoming content before it goes live. Your feedback helps us make critical adjustments to ensure a polished and balanced experience in Season 5. We appreciate your involvement as it allows us to address any issues and refine new systems.

    Season 5 Highlights

    New Storyline:
    Season 5 brings an exciting new narrative filled with intense battles, shifting alliances, and unexpected allies. During the PTR, you’ll encounter a new Questline set after the Main Questline, available on both Seasonal and Eternal Realms. This Questline will persist in the Eternal Realm beyond the conclusion of Season 5.

    How to Access the New Content:

    1. New Questline:
    - Location: Hawezar, World Tier III
    - Objective:Investigate a disturbance among the cityfolk.
    - Unlocks:Completing this Questline will grant you access to the Infernal Hordes, a new gameplay feature. Note that this Quest needs to be completed only once per account.

    2. Infernal Hordes:
    - Activity:Engage in Infernal Hordes to confront waves of Hell’s minions in the Realm of Hatred. These hordes become increasingly challenging over time.
    - Access:Use an Infernal Compass to enter the Realm of Hatred. Obtain Hell Compasses by defeating Endgame Bosses, completing Helltides, Nightmare Dungeons, and Whispers. You’ll also receive a Hell Compass upon completing the latest Eternal quest.
    - Gameplay: Participate in time-limited waves, each lasting 90 seconds. Collect Burning Aether during these waves, which you’ll spend at the end of a successful Infernal run. At the end of each wave, defeat remaining enemies and choose from three Infernal Offers to influence the next wave.
    - Objective:Complete all waves in your Tier to advance to the Well of Hatred and face the Fell Council. Defeating the Fell Council allows you to spend Burning Aether on Spoils of Hell.
    Infernal Offers:
    - Modifiers: Choose from three Boons & Banes that will affect your run. Examples include increased elite damage or higher Burning Aether rewards. These offers stack and can be active simultaneously, so choose wisely to balance difficulty and reward.

    Burning Aether:
    - Earning:Collect Burning Aether by defeating Aether Fiends, Aether Lords, and destroying Soulspires and Aetheric Masses. Burning Aether is earned individually, whether you play solo or in a group, allowing you to decide how to spend it at the end of your run.
    - Usage: Use Burning Aether to unlock various Spoils of Hell.

    Spoils of Hell:
    - Spoils of Equipment
    - Spoils of Materials
    - Spoils of Gold
    - Spoils of Greater Equipment(guarantees an item with a Greater Affix)

    Treasure Goblin Enhancements:

    - Loot Quality:Treasure Goblins now drop 1-3 Legendary Items and 2-6 Rare Items. The higher the number of Legendary Items, the fewer Rare Items, and vice versa.
    - Additional Drops:Treasure Goblins also drop 1-2 Elixirs and are guaranteed to drop Common Ore, Herbs, Leather, and Gem Fragments.
    - Gold Drops: Increased amounts of Gold dropped:
    - Level 1 in World Tier I: 40k Gold
    - Level 100 in World Tier IV: 150k Gold
    - Additional Rewards:In World Tiers III and IV, Treasure Goblins also drop Forgotten Souls. They now have a 10/20/30% chance to drop 1-2 Scattered Prisms in World Tiers I/II, III, and IV respectively.
