Ben Brode, the former game director at World of Warcraft who left Blizzard in the year 2018 following 15 years of working for the company, went on to form Second Dinner, an indie studio comprised of mostly ex-Blizzard developers who are currently working on the development of a Marvel game buy WoTLK Gold.
Tim Morton and Tim Campbell, two developers with extensive knowledge of games such as Starcraft and World of Warcraft, formed Frost Giant in 2020 with the goal of making the next fantastic RTS and has a significant portion of the team's talents, approximately 80%, according to IGN as of the time of writing, coming from Blizzard. Kevin Dong, former lead co-op designer on Starcraft 2. told IGN that the most important reason behind a high percentage of ex- Blizzard employees is Frost Giant's demand for developers with RTS experience.
"It is not a coincidence that Blizzard is one of the largest numbers of them employed in the US, therefore, we'd have a greater proportion of former employees from Blizzard," Dong said.
Many of these former devs are still in close relationWarcraft together with Blizzard. Metzen remains a voice actor, as former Horde Warchief, Thrall, for instance, and numerous still praise Blizzard. As IGN reports in its report some of the former Blizzard employees who left were cautious about damaging their relationships with their former employers.
However, it doesn't mean that Blizzard's many departures have gone under the radar. Stories about Blizzard's culture change and the growing discontent with pay and layoffs have all helped paint a picture of a business that may not be the ideal place to work as it was previously thought to be buy WoW WoTLK Classic Gold.
