While there's no shortage of cute creatures on Final Fantasy XIV's roster of minions, the new Pterosquirrel will undoubtedly be one of the "Top 10" cutest pets. Players must complete old missions to earn Faux Leaves, the currency used to buy Minions. Read on to learn how to unlock the Winged Squirrel in Final Fantasy XIV. Unlock the Winged Squirrel Minion in Final Fantasy XIV
To unlock the Winged Squirrel in Final Fantasy XIV, players must purchase Minions from the Faux Commander for 400 Faux Leaves. As mentioned above, this currency is earned by participating in Faux Hollows, a weekly mini-game event that lets players replay extreme trials from older expansions.
The next step will be to engage in artificial hollows until enough artificial leaves are accumulated to unlock the Pterosquirrel Minion in Final Fantasy XIV. Depending on how often players participate in the event, this can take weeks or months. However, Minions are not limited-time event items, so there is no need to rush.
If you haven't unlocked the Faux Hollows and Unreal trial, follow these steps:
Reach at least level 80.
Complete all Shadowbringer main quests.
Complete the "Keeping Up With the Aliapohs" quest (available in Idyllshire).
Talk to the miserable Ishgardians in the same city and take the "Mr. Fantastic" quest.
After the mission is complete, the Unreal Trial will appear in the high-end tab of your Mission Finder.
In addition to the Faux Hollows and Unreal trials, you can earn unique rewards by talking to Khloe for completing a Wodrous Tale diary every two weeks, and trading the certificate for completing the diary. They also include mounts, minions, and more.
